Party at Galveston
Yesterday, I went to Galveston for one of my friends birthday parties. It was a long, but fun trip in the truck that they rented. It's funny, because usually a 2 hour trip seemed like a very long time, but when your in a truck with 10 of your friends, it doesn't seem like 2 hours at all. We stopped at Subway on the way and I got a yummy sandwich. Once we got to Galveston we headed to the beach which was the best part of the party. It was cool when the wave pulls you in then falls on you even thought the waves weren't that big. We spent about 1 hour on the beach but it began to rain which pretty much ended our stay at the beach. To end the birthay party, we headed to the mall where we got the birthday girl the gift she had always wanted, a coach purse which could only hold her phone, and wallet, and it just so happens that the purse was $196 dollars. All that was left was the car ride home which ended the party.

The (Best Summer Ever)
Well, clearly by my title you can see that this has been a great summer for me. We did bowl quite often, maybe not enough but we still bowled. My high score in bowling is 155 for those of you who know about the scoring system.

Timing is funny during the summer. You see, sometimes my mom fixes up a part of the house. For instance, once she repainted the walls, and another time she changed the tiles in the bathroom. Now, since last summer, she hasn't done any changing at all and now summer is nearing to an end which is the exact time when I want to do the most playing, and for some reason it became my mom's favorite time to change the countertop in her bathroom. I didn't want to shop for counters but she made me go anyways. She said it would only take about one hour to find the counter she wanted but that isn't how it turned out. For some reason I guess taking one hour to shop for a counter also means not only shopping for a counter, but taking a complete 5 hours to find new sinks, and new faucets. And to make it worse when we finally got the counter, we cut the holes for the sinks wrong so we had to go buy a new counter which turned out to be chipped.
